What Happens After You Submit

  1. Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your DMCA notice within 2 business days.

  2. Investigation: We will review the reported content and verify the information provided.

  3. Action: If the notice is valid and complete, we will:

    • Remove or disable access to the infringing material
    • Notify the user who posted the content
    • Keep a record of the takedown
  4. Counter-Notification: If the user submits a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to you and may restore the content after 10-14 business days unless you notify us that you have filed a court action.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may submit a counter-notification that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address

Repeat Infringers

We maintain a policy of terminating accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, at our sole discretion.

Important Notes

  • Accuracy Requirement: Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.

  • No Automated Processing: We review each DMCA notice manually to ensure accuracy and fairness.

  • Response Time: We strive to process valid DMCA notices within 5 business days.
