Getting the right URL
When you find a novel you want to import:
- Go to the novel's main page (not a chapter page)
- Copy the URL from your browser's address bar
- Paste it into the NovelHub SmartImporter
Novel URLs look like:
https://www.jjwxc.net/onebook.php?novelid=123456https://www.qidian.com/book/1010809806
Avoid:
- Shortened links
- Redirect URLs
- Share links with extra tracking parameters
About VIP and paid chapters
Most platforms have free and paid content. NovelHub can import chapters your browser session can legitimately access on the source site. If a chapter is locked or VIP-only, unlock it on the source platform first. NovelHub does not bypass paywalls.
Typically, the first portion of a novel is free, with later chapters requiring payment. This varies by platform and novel.
Tips for finding good novels
Check ratings and reviews. Most platforms show reader ratings. High-rated novels are more likely to be worth your time.
Look at chapter count. Novels with hundreds of chapters are usually completed or long-running. Shorter novels (20-100 chapters) are often complete stories.
Read the description. Descriptions are in Chinese, but you can get the gist through machine translation. Look for genres and themes you enjoy.
Try the first few chapters. Import and translate just the first chapter to see if you like the writing style before committing to a full novel.
Browse by tags — Many platforms have tag systems. If you enjoy a particular trope (穿越 for time travel, 重生 for rebirth, etc.), search by tag.
